Cheese Muffins


Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ c. flour
  • ½ c. sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp. baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¾ c. milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 Tbl. butter, softened
  • 1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions:

Mix all of the dry ingredients first. Add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes to start with, then bake longer if needed. Don’t overbake. Makes about 1 dozen regular muffins or 24 mini muffins.

Make small or big - both excellent
